Description
These will bolt Kirkey Pro Street 55 and 38 series seats into a 6th gen Camaro and hide under the seat unlike most of our competitors. Brackets are made of powder coated 11 Ga steel that is CNC Plasma cut and has multiple mounting holes at the floor for 3″ of travel. Height is set a bit lower than stock to help with helmet clearance. Weighs 3lbs 10oz per set without fasteners. Upper holes can be enlarged to use Dzus fasteners for faster seat removal. Comes with Grade 8 hardware to mount the bracket to the seat and assemble it (reuse existing Torx rear floor bolts). Sold as a pair per seat. The back of the seat should be supported per NHRA if there is a roll bar.
These mounts use a front hook and are designed to preload the back of the mount to the floor with the back bolt like the factory design. The preload can be adjusted if needed by loosening the front hook or adding a washer but make sure they go in tight so the hook does its job!
